Harmony Day

21 March 2017

Tuesday was a buzz of orange and cultural dress as we celebrated Harmony Day at St Paul. Harmony Day promotes inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. A voluntary Year 5 Harmony Day Committee drove the planning and organisation of this special day as part of student leadership development. Opportuntities for whole school engagement included lunch time activities in the amphitheatre, activities in the library with Mrs McLeod, a whole school art activity which saw display chains all over the school, a shared cultural lunch for staff in the staffroom, and a delightful cultural canteen menu which saw Mrs Semmler inundated with orders for butter chicken, spring rolls and fried rice! A fantastic day for building Community!
