Student Disco

A wonderful night was had by all as the children enjoyed the second-ever St Paul Lutheran School Student Disco. Together with children from other Lutheran primary schools in Adelaide's northern suburbs, the children danced, rapped, bopped, beat-boxed, sung and partied to the tunes of DJ Harris and DJ Wilksch. Family Fun Fair 2005

What an event! Sensationally warm weather and an equally ‘warm’ crowd ensured a successful Family Fun Fair for 2005. It’s hard not to be astounded by the commitment and desire shown by the St Paul community in supporting the ongoing success of the Family Fun Fair. Not only do the funds raised support our students – relationships too are strengthened through the giving and sharing of time and energy, for the benefit of our students. Highlights of the afternoon included camel rides, face painting, German sausages, music by Vincent's Chair, a hidden golden ticket and the dunking machine, with Mr Wilksch the target! View photos »»

Sports Day 2005

A day that had it all! It started with marching and the national anthem. Then came a plethora of tabloid events that saw the use of hockey sticks, hurdles, construction hats, hoops, footballs, soccerballs, buckets of water ... and more! The relays and sprint finals were a highlight of the day. After twelve years of strategic planning, Giersch stepped up and took the flag! View photos »»

Billion Beats Day

We achieved a grand total of over 27 250 heart beats during our whole-school activity sessions on the morning of 21 October 2005. This was a fine contribution to Billion Beats Day. Over 200 000 children Australia-wide participated in the day. For St Paul students, it was a wonderful warm-up for Sports Day the following week. A special thanks goes to Miss Burgan's class for its organisation and enthusiastic leadership throughout the event. View photos »»

Concert 2005

This year's school concert was unlike any other. The school choir, N'Saint, lead the audience in an episode of barking and howling. Mr Liebelt's class presented 'The Good, the Bad and the Just Plain Stupid' while Mr Mayer's class presented 'Spaceship Pig - In Space No One Can Hear You Oink' - two classic masterpieces written by the teachers themselves, leaving the audience in stitches. The Concert finished with Miss Mattner's and Miss Burgan's classes providing a massive dose of humour and a generous prescription of scripture in the musical, 'Dr Newheart's Neck-Up Check-Up'. Wirraway Camp

Miss Burgan and Miss Mattner, together with their classes of senior students dragged Mr Wilksch and Pastor Garry to Strathalbyn to enjoy three days on the set of the Sam Neill movie, 'Roberty Under Arms'. Years ago the set was carefully transported to Strathalbyn and has since been cleverly converted into a Christian outreach camp. At Wirraway the children were presented with a seemingly endless variety of activities. They were given the opportunity to feed and ride horses, compete in a commando ropes course, play mini golf, ride a 180-metre long flying fox, shoot a bow and arrow, partake in a night hike … and that was just the beginning! Outstanding camp staff and unbeatable food made for an unforgettable experience. View photos »»

Blessed with great weather, great food, great company and a real sense of celebration, the Opening and Dedication of our new facility was an outstanding community event.
