Last Thursday our Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 girls were the pride of our school when treated to a footy (AFL) clinic courtesy of the Adelaide Crows Women’s (AFLW) club. Fittingly in Book Week, what a story our Adelaide women’s team created last year, becoming AFLW Champions in the inaugural year of the national women’s competition. Chelsea Randall and Ann Hatchard ensured the girls had a mighty good time brushing up on their AFL skills, ball kicking, hand balling and tackling. It was also great to hear them cheering each other on in each of the activities.
