In October 2022 the Commonwealth Government directed the ACCC to conduct an inquiry into the market for the supply of early childhood education and care services. The inquiry started in January 2023 and consultation continues throughout this year.

As part of the inquiry the ACCC has invited parents and guardians to take part in a survey for their views on centre-based care, OSHC and family day care.
