St Paul Lutheran School Values Review

06 September 2023

As part of our Strategic Plan, we have begun a process to review and update our school values. St Paul Lutheran School has undergone significant change over the past ten years as we have developed and refined our teaching and learning methodology (pedagogy), wellbeing focus, and increased our focus on children as capable and unique individuals. We are very confident that the school’s current pedagogical and wellbeing beliefs are strong, and that our values should not be a ‘reset’ but rather an update to better reflect the work that we have been doing in recent years.

With this in mind, our leadership team has been working with a consultant to identify and articulate our values. We have come up with a set of ideas that we would like to share and gather feedback from our community. I would love for parents and caregivers to be involved in this and have two different ways that you can participate.

I will be holding three workshops/conversations for parents and caregivers to participate on Tuesday 12th September:

  • 12pm-12:45pm Zoom session
  • 3:30pm – 4:15pm in-person session
  • 6pm – 6:45pm Zoom session

If you are interested in being part of a session, please contact Monique Tabuena at mtabuena@stpaulba.sa.edu.au to register.

Our work is also displayed in the corridor near the SPLASH pinboard (on your way to the JP playground), and can be requested at the school office. This will be available for you to read and interact with to give your ideas and comments.
